[Dane Brugler] It’ll be interesting to see where #Michigan LB Junior Colson lands on draft weekend. A lot of LB1 feedback from teams on him. Does Colson get past the Chargers at No. 37? He is in LA today visiting with a lot of friendly faces now with LAC.

  1. Depending on what they do at 5 Edge, CB, LB, T, DT, WR, CB, C(in no order) are all areas of need. TT not being able to hit on later round players really hurt this team.

  2. Wouldn’t mind him being the 3rd round pick. He’s familiar with Minter’s system and this team needs LB help.

  3. I’d be a little concerned if we took a LB in the 2nd rd. Not really the biggest need bc the chargers have an experienced starter in Perryman along with 2 promising younger players.

Not only do we have 2 somewhat promising players in Henley and Niemann but off ball LB is one of the cheapest positions to acquire. There’s a huge opportunity cost to picking one in the 2nd. I’d prefer to wait until day 3 but if there is a trade back in rd 1 or 2 I could be ok with a rd 3 selection.
