  1. Hoping to see an employee strike at this point. They’ve done these people so fucking dirty after they’ve shown nothing but loyalty for decades in some cases. Hell I’ve talked to employees who have been at the Coliseum since year fucking 1

  2. At this point I don’t understand why the A’s even bother worrying about people talking. Like what are you afraid is going to happen if they talk about their layoffs. Are you afraid that you’re going to… get bad PR? Did you think public opinion of the A’s was otherwise sunny and positive? You thought it’s better PR to let it be known that you’re threatening minimum wage food service workers with their jobs? Like what the fuck are you thinking?

  3. If the ushers are regulating fans for moving down in an empty stadium I think they publicly care still

  4. I’m starting to think there is an intentional ‘make everything a shitshow’ strategy by A’s management. It’s not an uncommon leadership approach these days.

  5. All the employees, city of Oakland and Fans (as consumers) should file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for Bad Business Practices. Start developing a broader argument to rescind the MLBs anti-trust excemption (https://reportfraud.ftc.gov)
