Ippei just looks like a scumbag. I’ve always thought he looked like someone who was just obviously a leech. It might be his haircut.
All I’ve learned from this ordeal is that Shohei Ohtani is not very intelligent.

I still can’t imagine how the 1-on-1 went with Ohtani and Ippei where Ippei told Ohtani what was going on and to go along with the lie he told ESPN and the clubhouse about Ohtani wiring the funds. Must have been devastating for Ohtani. Crazy how they went from that happy picture where they are all cheesing with their wives before Korea to courtroom sketches of Ippei in the blink of an eye. The whole thing is just damn sad.
Craziest thing is that he said it in perfect English.
