  1. I hate the Dodgers as much as anyone, but there’s no evidence that Shohei was aware of the gambling

  2. Glasnow definitely from California. He said the word “like” like 20 times in that interview.

  3. > Take my phone! Figure this out!

Me when I get a naughty pop up on a shady streaming site

  4. Glasnow the next fall guy when its revealed Ohtani has a cock fighting gig on the side

  5. “Yes Shohei, I will gladly get this sorted out just need you account number and routing number to verify some info so I can get to the bottom of this”

  6. Ippei just looks like a scumbag. I’ve always thought he looked like someone who was just obviously a leech. It might be his haircut.

  7. All I’ve learned from this ordeal is that Shohei Ohtani is not very intelligent.

  8. I still can’t imagine how the 1-on-1 went with Ohtani and Ippei where Ippei told Ohtani what was going on and to go along with the lie he told ESPN and the clubhouse about Ohtani wiring the funds. Must have been devastating for Ohtani. Crazy how they went from that happy picture where they are all cheesing with their wives before Korea to courtroom sketches of Ippei in the blink of an eye. The whole thing is just damn sad.

  9. In all seriousness Shohei needs to fire all of his financial advisors/accountants and everyone in between because this is a terrible look on his intelligence lol

  10. I feel bad for Shohei. He probably just wanted to play baseball and figured if he did that well then things would just work out by themselves. No one told him what a cesspool being famous in LA would be like.

I think he’s a decent guy who keeps getting caught up in stupid stuff from all the media scrutiny.

He should have given the home run ball back to the fan though. How awesome would that have been.

  11. I think we’re being too hard on Ippei. He’s clearly a troubled addict who needs help. He should be given mental health resources. In his stead, let’s send Arte Moreno to prison.

  12. Like figure this out where has my money all gone? Or take my phone what is ippei saying I did?

  13. Will never understand the crowd that WANTED the most exciting baseball player in 100 years to be guilty of something that would ban him from sport

  14. Why would someone be saying shit to the media on a teammate during an active investigation too?

  15. I don’t have a hard time believing that Ohtani wasn’t involved.

What I *do* have a hard time believing is that he was 100% unaware of what was going on.
