This is definitely the most conflicted i've felt as a fan since the 2016/17 season because of the WHAT IF Chris Bosh stayed healthy. Since the 2019/20 season i feel like i've been holding my breath endlessly swimming for the surface from the bottom of the ocean. 2020 we shoulda never made it and 2021 the Heat "fluked" their way into the Finals last year. 2022 okay Jimmy is special and ahhhh well better luck next year. 2023 Jimmy Butler is him but we just don't have enough also while questioning my sanity of consistently getting so close yet never getting over that hump.
We're back in the play-in potentially getting 7th seed while also maybe getting 8th or completely missing the playoffs all together. The 8th seed is the 8th seed. Last year was no doubt an anomaly since '84 only 2 teams have made the finals as an 8th seed both ended up meeting the #1 seed in the finals both to lose 4-1.
Now the field has 5 teams who are REALLY fighting for the East. The Celtics are undisputed expected to make the Finals undoubtedly has the best roster and best season so far. The Bucks have 2 of the top 7 or so guys in the East, have has mostly the same core with the addition of Dame but at the cost Doc Rivers as a coach and Giannis seeming to be injury prone. now after that the Knicks 76ers and Heat don't have a real real favorite. Knicks have MVP Brunson, addition of All Defensive OG Anuoby, best shooting season Donte DiVincenzo, NO PLAYOFF DROPPER JULIUS RANDLE and Josh Hart who isn't tasked vs Butler anymore. Pretty formidable team yet it's always Heat in 5. My worries come from playing the 76ers for 7th seed because this is where i can't act like the Celtics ARENT the best team in the East and that i would want to be 8th seed and try to make a back to back anomaly run like winning 2 lottery's.
i'm 75% confident we beat the 76ers last time we played them Embiid made Bam look like BBQ Chicken and Maxey got what he want the thing is tho we had no Herro and were up 94-102 with 6:28 to play then lost 109-105. That won't happen again not with Delon guarding Maxey or not with Jimmy getting that assignment and having Herro who would actually get us a bucket or 2 in SIX WHOLE MINUTES to win the game.
Now i kinda just yapped but this year as a fan i feel so much pressure that i just needed to type out that i can't just i gnore the Celtics and i can't pretend the whole east doesnt have a target on us now with Jimmy getting older too.
It's always Heat in 5 till i die but you only get so many chances to win a ring in todays NBA and the window is closing and its closing fast. im sure the team has realized that too and they're ganna give it all they got and bring us the second greatest ring in Miami Heat history!

People rate the celtics too highly. It would actually be pretty good to get rid of them in the first round for the media reaction. It would be priceless.
My real issue is i still dont see how we get over denver
Everything was good besides the Celtics and Bucks dicksuck🤣💀 and calling it an anomaly and lottery lol. When in reality the Heat are just a dammn good, contending team they been proving that since 2020 really and during the big 3 days, and rookie Dwade days. With that all said, playoffs are hopefully gonna be fun af this postseason, and Rozier and Duncan are back soon. It’s easy to be a 64 win team, when u haven’t dealt with injuries all season. Celtics will tell u that, and anyone who know another about basketball.
