Maine House votes against tax credits for Sea Dogs stadium renovations

1. That’s good to hear. The taxpayers shouldn’t foot the bill for any sports team, especially when the Sea Dogs are owned by a group that owns 25 other minor league teams.

2. Good. We should not have to pay for these stadiums.

3. Everyone can say “taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for it”, and they might be right, but the fact is that if they don’t pay for it, the team will move somewhere where they will.
