[Edwards] Aidan O’Connell on heading into his second season competing to remain starting QB: “There’s going to be competition, this is the best of the best. I’m just trying to do my best. It’s new at this level, but I’ve had to deal with this even as early as high school.”

  1. How dare a rookie qb not be great after getting thrown to the wolves mid season while losing his hc AND OC!
    /S

  2. He started as the 8th qb in Purdue and ended starting for the Raiders. He’s a dawg

  3. I don’t think he’s got the talent to be a great QB at this level but I hope I’m wrong.. go get em AOC!

  4. I’m happy with the way it’s being treated. He did good by us last year in a garbage situation I’m glad there is a sense of his job to lose. He a Raider. If he loses it won’t be because of some popularity BS from the media.

  5. Am I the only one who wants us to not draft a qb, use that pick to add talent else where and start Gardner or AOC? Aiden looked solid towards the end of the year and Gardner is a bonafide starter in this league, 10,000 career yards with 60 TDs and only 24 INTs. O line could use some reinforcements namely so we should use our pick on that
