Denver Nuggets clinch No. 2 seed with rout of Memphis Grizzlies | Three Takeaways

“The two seed in the Western Conference belongs to Denver after an anticlimactic conclusion to the regular season.
Here are three takeaways from Denver’s 126-111 win Sunday in Memphis:
1. Dallas took all the drama out of the day. The Mavericks, locked into the fifth seed, rested most of their best players and effectively gifted Oklahoma City an important win. The Thunder led 82-41 at halftime and stretched the advantage to 51 after three quarters. That erased any hopes Denver had of regaining the No.1 seed. Â Oklahoma City is the No. 1 seed thanks to the tiebreaker over Denver, while Minnesota, which lost to Phoenix, drops to the three seed.”
