A look back at some defining individual moments for the 2023-24 Houston Rockets

I think we can all agree that this was one hell of a season to be a Houston Rockets fan. Unfortunately our season ended Sunday, but we did finish with a record of 41-41 (.500), which is a +19 game difference from last year! Let’s look back at some moments that defined this season for a few Rockets players.

Alperen Şengün’s late game heroics propel furious comeback to send game to OT vs the Bulls.

Aaron Holiday returns the disrespect Keyonte George was throwing his way.

FVV throwing the team on his back vs the Jazz and hitting 9-13 from the 3 (Apr11), a few weeks after hitting 10-15 from 3 (Mar23) also vs the Jazz (FTJ)

Jalen Green winning Western Conference Player of the Week and dominating March. Holy shit, he really did look like THAT MAN. Dunk of the year candidate, which I got to see live in Portland!

Jabari Smith Jr scoring a career high 34 points vs his hometown Atlanta Hawks. Sports Illustrated article

Amen Thompson’s clutch block on Colin Sexton to seal that victory. Plus the first time Amen made me reevaluate my opinion of him. 🙏 Handles. Also feel the need to mention his first career triple double to close the season. YouTube highlight

Dillon Brooks hits dagger 3 in emotional return to Memphis. Rockets YouTube Brooks highlights

These are just a few moments chosen by me, but I want to hear everybody’s, please feel free to share what moments stood out for you!
