If it weren’t for that mid-year slump and the fact that the NBA is gunning to make Wemby the next face, he would’ve had a really good shot at being ROY.
That being said, Wemby is a fucking monster and is going to be a major nuisance for many years to play.
I just wish there was a more mathematical breakdown of the formula used to derive this stat. I’m not trying to read a 1000 word essay about what the stat is, just show me the numbers that went into this and I can evaluate how meaningful it is or isn’t.
Wemby is ROTY, let’s just stop trying to cherry pick Chet stats or formulas making him the better player because he isn’t. Chet is a great player but this is getting ridiculous
