  1. Hader only has one save after 9 appearances this year. Holmes has a league leading 6 saves.

    So far this year has been a disaster for Hader.

  2. with the way the defense has been this season, his groundball-specialist approach may not be as productive as we’ve seen. let’s hope our boys get it together.

  3. As great as Hader is at his best, he’s alternated good and bad years since 2019 (I believe). Whereas Holmes has been consistently good since coming to the Yankees.

  4. Holmes gets hate because he pitches to contact, and we’re not used to that from closers with this team.

  5. Isn’t most of that from Hader where he let up like a dozen run in <2 innings?
