Woman Who Accused Trevor Bauer of Sexual Assault Indicted on Fraud Charges

The owners blackballed him for what he says in the media and were just using this as an excuse for not signing him. Sadly, I doubt anything changes for him but any team would be lucky to sign him seeing as he’s a Cy Young level talent who is willing to play for the league minimum.
The dude will forever be a douchebag, but it sure sounds like he’s a vindicated douchebag. And this woman should pay dearly for all of her nonsense. False accusations and all.
He should just come to the Astros, I mean who cares, are they gonna hate us more!? lol 😂

Separate case of fraud or fraud for this? Because levying these types of false shit should absolutely be prosecuted in the same seriousness as his charges would have been prosecuted at.

I was banned from r/baseball years ago for (correctly) stating he did not crack a woman’s skull. The mods there were banning anyone seeking the full truth of his accusations, while letting people spread misinformation and make abusive comments to others.

I don’t believe he’s criminally guilty in reality, regardless of the standard applied, whether it’s preponderance of evidence or reasonable doubt. I think it’s more likely he simply treated his ex-partners badly and used them. Despite the intensity of the MeToo movement, no accusations surfaced against him then. It was only after the LA incident and the Washington Post started digging dirt that women began to come forward. WaPo, Business Insider, New York Mag, these publications have journalists who do hit jobs on people they don’t like. Sort of like what happened to Andrew Huberman. Bauer’s career would likely remain unaffected if not for the Washington Post.

These allegations weren’t what got him blackballed from the league, MLB doesn’t care about Women, let’s be honest. He was the main whistleblower on the sticky stuff pitchers were using and now no team will touch him.
They let Ozuna play even tho he was caught red handed on video commiting DV. Urias had a bad history with multiple incidents and was allowed to play. Chapman has a past of assaulting females and keeps getting signed. Bauer needs to sue MLB
Personally I think the problem is road games. There is no way to just let him pitch home games and this is where the league might now want him in certain parks. Just due to the backlash.
I think he should be pitching in the majors 1000% but the reality is many are not going to accept who he is. People actually deal with criminals better than they deal with sexual deviance. And that’s it. Simple . For this reason I don’t see any MLB team sign him in the NA. Cultural differences will allow him to pitch elsewhere so that needs to be his focus.
The problem here is that even if Bauer is completely cleared (likely) he still remains a giant self serving douchebag. He’s never going to find an MLB team willing to roster him. Clearly it’s not just the accusations (see: Chapman, Ozuna) but the entire package. He’s been a drama Queen egotist his whole career.
