4. I’m a big Stu fan but why not have Elly or Fraley at 3

5. I’m all for a CES off-day. But holy sweet mother of lord Stuart Fairchild belongs nowhere near the 3-hole, especially not against a right handed pitching which Stu is 1/11 against (.091 OBP!!!!!!!!!!!).

   I’ve been trying to avoid criticizing David Bell too much this season because I think a lot of situations he gets unfairly blamed for and I don’t want to be lumped in with those people who pile on him when one at-bat goes wrong. But this is one of those trademarked mind-numbing, horrible, stupid moves he just inexplicably makes sometimes that makes me scared to ever see him manage a playoff roster.

   With that said I now fully expect Stu to go absolutely off tonight and i’ll have people in my replies telling me how wrong I was. And i’ll be happy to see those especially if we win, but I will forever stand by this being a terrible move.

13. Stu can smack fastballs & Bryce’s is very hittable is the only justification I can think of. But, alas, it should be Elly or Fraley there, but I don’t even care that much. Go out & shut em out, Abbott. 🙏
