6. I’m interested and anxiously excited to see Arias in CF. I would have thought he’d go to RF or DH and Florial could play CF if we’re giving Freeman a day off. Either way I’m glad Vogt is finding ways to keep Arias in the lineup right now. His bat has been scorching hot. 

7. Stephen Vogt is COOKING. Even if it’s a disaster, good to know whether Arias can handle CF. Tito (as much as I love him) would’ve never done this

9. Arias in CF is certainly a choice. Excited to see how he does, Freeman picked it up relatively quickly and Gabby has some OF experience already so it can’t be that bad, right?

11. Arias in CF while DHing Brennan is the first head-scratcher I’ve seen from Vogt.

15. I love the idea of arias getting more time. He’s hitting the ball well. Wouldn’t mind the having fry DH but oh well. Don’t know what to expect from lively

16. They threw Arias in at first base in the playoffs when he had a handful of distant minor league appearances there, guess they just back the guy to play anywhere

    * – Placed RHP Eli Morgan on 15-Day IL (right shoulder inflammation).
    * – Optioned RHP Xzavion Curry to AAA Columbus.

    With Lively on the mound and the BP dead, this was a throwaway game anyways so may as well see how Arias does defensively out there. Odds are we were going to lose this game anyways.
