30 minute Belichick interview – Pat McAfee show (4/17/24)

We’re on to Detroit.
I love seeing this side of Belichick.
This was fun. I don’t usually do the sports radio thing, but this was a good segment. I’ll be tuning into them for sure for their draft coverage with BB.
I always think it’s hysterical when people say BB will be boring in a broadcast. I don’t watch television at all anymore unless it’s a live sporting event, but I could listen to BB talk football for literally hours.
i watched the entire thing and could have watched 5 more hours
bill is amazing he even almost talks too much which is crazy that the same guy barely gave more than one word answers as a head coach
i will be locked in to his draft coverage next Thursday
I cannot wait for their coverage of the draft, holy shit.
This makes me SO happy. I love Pat and it’s so awesome to see him get to talk to Bill. I’m excited for next Thurday.

Bill is the best
I feel like seeing Bill talk this much gives me insight on how he probably talked with players/coaches behind closed doors.
A few interesting notes from this:
Had never had a cup of coffee. Weird.
Denies trading back last year to screw the Jets, says they were confident Pittsburgh and New York weren’t taking corners. Doesn’t address Washington.
Repeatedly suggests that teams don’t really put together their draft boards until the week of the draft. I may have taken this too literally, but he seems pretty clear on this.
