Sad
But we’re not allowed to be upset that the dodgers lost 3 of their last 4 series and got shutout by a bottom feeder because it’s only April and clearly you guys don’t remember when the 1953 105 win Brooklyn Dodgers went on that 18 game losing streak!
And here Ohtani thought he was going to start winning after leaving Anaheim.
Annoying loss.
Before anyone dooms, being 12-9 midway through April with half our pitching staff and 3 bench players out due to injury is actually pretty good
Defeated in the dodgers slump era
#Dang
On my knees at the walmart
And now we get to face the Mets…great
Well from all comments I’m glad I was at work and couldn’t watch.
Shameful to be shut out by the Nats like that
Pitching was good, but apart from Shohei the offense was non-existent.
if we ain’t hitting bombs we’re ice fucking cold man. that’s brutal.
Joke of an offense left Knack out to dry. It’s time we get a real 2B and a real SS so Mookie doesn’t have to carry everything along with Sho
Shit happens. Get pissy if that’s your thing. Personally, I’m going outside to enjoy some sunshine. Get back at it on Friday.
Can this sub please explain how this loss was also CT3’s fault?
5 IP/2 ER is a great first career start for Knack. Basically a modern-day quality start now that pitchers don’t go nearly as long as they did when the stat was invented.
Have no problem with people being concerned and annoyed at losing 3/4 the last series and the last 5/7 games. Our guys aren’t showing up right now and a few guys we needed to contribute this year are just absolutely pathetic so far. I’m assuming the front office can see how horrible Lux and Taylor and Kiké have been, but I’m not sure what the solution is right now
Happy for Knack. That first inning was rough but he bounced back well and ended up looking really solid. Too bad our billion dollar offense couldn’t scrape one measly one together for him
Look I get the team isn’t playing great now, but the amount of low IQ fans in here saying the season is over or the team should blow it up is a fucking joke. It’s APRIL. Many teams start slow in April and can turn it around. Having said that, fuck the bottom of this order and blow it up.
This team is gonna win 100+ games again. And probably next year too. And the year after that.
The 111-win 2022 Dodgers played .500 baseball basically all of late May through June, including losing 5 of 6 to the Pirates. Remember that? Remember getting punched in the face by the Royals last year? Reminder losing 16 of 17 in 2017? Reminder being 16-26 in 2018? Remember giving regular at-bats to Steven Souza Jr. and Sheldon Neuse in 2021?
Hell, the 2020 team only lost 1 series the whole season, and it was at home to the Rockies.
Rough stretches happen. It’s part of the long season.
Miguel Rojas needs to be playing every day. Seems like he’s the only guy that can put some life into the bottom of the order
Bats were criminally cold.
hopefully the offense will return from witness protection this weekend bc that was pathetic
Gavin Luxs ABs annoyed me the most
Ohtani is on fire when no one is on base. Freeman is kind of in a slump, a victim of good defense today but he’s obviously feeling frustrated. Hernandez seems to have lost fire of sorts. Outman is showing some life. I think the offense is still settling in and just working it out. There are signs of brilliance here and there but not all working together yet. I think in a little bit of time they’ll start to fire off on all cylinders. Just gotta be patient. Lux should probably be sent down to AAA to get some reps in, get some hits and HR’s to boost the confidence.
Knack was a victim of no run support
Went to the game… lovely weather.. bats were off and we had terrible luck. Outman should be a regular at this point. Got to see Shohei. He’s beautiful.
Onto the next one 🥹
In playoffs form I see
Annoying loss but plenty of season left before I start worrying. If moves need to be made so be it, but a healthy dodger team that’s hot at the right moment wins 9/10 times. Baseball just so happens to be kinda wonky.
Damn Ohtani was our only offense?
We turned into the Los Angeles Angels of Los Angeles
I know it will never happen. But since the platoon players they expected to contribute aren’t, maybe they should give a shot at naming a starting 9 and keeping it for a few weeks. Keep Kike, CT3, and Lux on the bench as PH’s or injury replacements. Idk if they can send Lux down to get some at bats, but they probably should if they can. He is young and coming back from injury, so there is a better chance he recovers and contributes than players that have been on a decline for a few seasons.
How does this lineup get shut out? 😔
That felt like an NLDS game.
Losing two series in a row unacceptable. The offense and pitching are so inconsistent.
