– Nick Seeler said he knows he and Jamie Drysdale had a rough night in Montreal, but believes they can mesh in future.
Seeler said he and Sean Walker got to a point where they knew exactly where the other would be.

Travis Sanheim
– Travis Sanheim acknowledges that he was banged up in March, but says that he got his skating legs mostly all the way back by the end. It hampered his mobility for a bit. But he doesn't seem to think that he'll need surgery. Just rest. He'll take a month off & then get back at it. O'Connor
Sean Couturier
– Sean Couturier said he “plain and simple sucked” down the stretch. Said a lot of it was mental.
He felt his first 40 games were pretty good, said he still has belief and confidence to play at that level. Hall
– Sean Couturier figures he'll have some conversations with John Tortorella in the summer to clear the air after the events of the 2nd half. Said that they've already had some of those convos.

– Marc Staal says he hasn't made a decision yet on his NHL future. Said he's missed his family, hasn't gotten a chance to see them a bunch this season, so he's going to go home and then decide his next move later in the summer. O,Connor

– Ersson on the final three games: "I feel like I can hold my head a little bit higher (as a result of how he ended the year."
Said he plans to work on keeping the lows as high as possible, and improved consistency. But he's thrilled he could finish the year on a high note. O'Connor

Noah Cates (not streamed)
– Noah Cates said there was a little bit of an “identity crisis” with his game, trying to be more offensive, but not losing sight of his foundation defensively. Hall
Morgan Frost
– Morgan Frost said it was pretty devastating to not play the back half of last night’s finale, but at the same time, he respects John Tortorella and his decision to shorten the bench.
Frost was a pro about it, said he could have played better the last couple of games. Hall
– Frost on the PP: I know a lot of the fans were frustrated with that. We were just as frustrated.
It's obviously something that needs to be worked on. I take a fair amount of responsibility for that. But hopefully once it clicks, it can stay that way for a long time. O'Connor
Tyson Foerster
Cam York
– Cam York acknowledges he had a Grade II AC shoulder sprain in February. Admits he probably should have sat out a few games, but the next game was the outdoor game, and he "wasn't missing that." O'Connor
– Cam York said Travis Sanheim played through a pretty serious injury. Both York and Sanheim played heavy minutes banged up.
York had a Grade 2 AC shoulder injury. He wasn’t going to miss the outdoor game. Said he doesn’t need any offseason surgery. Hall
– Cam York on his relationship with John Tortorella: "I don't pay attention to anything he says…….. in a good way." He grinned. Meltzer
Jamie Drysdale
– Jamie Drysdale didn't deny that he was banged up pretty much all year, and wasn't 100% even from the start of his Flyers tenure. Said he didn't want to make excuses.
I asked if he might have a procedure this summer due to an injury.
"Potentially," he said with a smile. O'Connor
– Jamie Drysdale didn’t rule out an offseason procedure to help him be healthier coming into next season.
Said Flyers have treated him unbelievably, he’s hoping to have healthy years ahead. Hall
Bobby Brink
– “He’s a good player and a good person. He’s skilled and can make a difference offensively.”

– Egor Zamula said the finish “still hurts” but Flyers can “learn from that.”

Ryan Poehling (not streamed)
– Ryan Poehling said he thought he was going to get qualifying offer from Penguins, was surprised he didn’t.
He said he trusted God’s plan coming to Philadelphia. He’s happy he did, sees a good foundation with Flyers and room for growth. Hall

  1. Atkinson is delusional and that can’t be good for a locker room next year.

    Tortorella did Couturier dirty. Massively overplayed him after two years off and then continued to lean on him while he was overly banged up, names him Captain out of the blue and then publicly shames him. Not the best team culture I could think of.

  2. I’m sorry Cam, but its very clear the game has passed you by. It’s not like you had some good spurts mixed in with cold streaks. You just really didn’t meaningfully contribute in any way all season.
