6. The swing and miss from some of the players will not change in October. You’re betting on luck more than skill.

11. Honestly, my biggest concern is that the game management is still exactly the same. Idk if Dave or the FO is really calling the shots, but something’s gotta change.

    Throughout the years we have had many different players and many different rosters, but in every case we have (over)managed things the exact same way. Platooning everyone, ignoring hot and cold streaks, questionable pitching decisions, etc.

    There’s just a lifelessness to the way we manage, like there’s a template we follow for every situation. There are so many non-numerical aspects to baseball, any player will tell you this. I feel like we ignore that and it hurts us, and to see it starting over again after so many promises that things would change is discouraging to say the least.

12. Man I think Outman will come together soon, but CT3 and Lux are scaring me, especially CT3. Kiké is whatever, I’d like for him to be hitting better but I feel like I don’t have high expectations for his offense tbh I feel like his biggest value for us this year will be his Swiss Army knife defensive abilities.

13. Except we do this in October too, because the teams we face aren’t cakewalks.

14. Pitching wise – we need some of our big guns to get healthy

    Bottom of the line up wise – not sure if we have an answer. Heyward? Another call up? Trade?

21. Last year it was both early and late. Hopefully this year is different.

22. New rule: if you’re down by 3 or less and it’s the 8th innng everyone plays small ball except for Ohtani, betts, and freeman.
