Ladies and Gentlemen, it has been an honor laughing with you, trolling clowns with you, and celebrating with you. Through the good times and the bad, we will always be Coyotes fans.

  1. Thanks for being a mod. Great work. I’m just a lurker, but I hope the sub sticks around.

  2. Thank you ProJoe for being a mod. I can’t imagine all the trolls you’ve had to deal with through the years. That banned-from-sub list must be fairly long by now.

    Thank you for your service!

  3. Always been mostly a lurker but thanks for what you did to improve the yotes community. The few and proud we may be it’s been an absolute pleasure. I still can’t really believe it’s over

From a flames fan: Godspeed you desert dogs! Hopefully Arizona gets a team back soon

  5. I love you all.

I was seven years old when I became a Coyotes fan, I would not be a professional sports fan if it were not for the Coyotes.

I remember waiting in line for an hour or two at a fucking Oshman’s in Tempe to meet Jeremy Roenick and get his autograph on a stick that I had somehow acquired in my young fandom.

I saw them beat the Blues in OT in the playoffs at AWA as a kid.

I saw them beat the Blackhawks in OT in Glendale in 2012 in the playoffs. I took my best friend, who was a Blackhawks fan, to that game. He cheered when the Yotes won.

I remember the joy of the 2012 run. We would have won the cup if LA hadn’t been gifted godlike power from whatever satanic deity those chodes worship. Still the most soul crushing loss of my pro sports watching career. The 2015 Cardinals NFCCG loss to Carolina is a close second.

I remember being trapped in my house in 2020 and losing my fucking mind when the Yotes beat the Preds in the pandemic play-in bubble.

An era of 28 years that started when I was 7 years old officially ends a month before my 36th birthday. I love hockey, I will always love hockey, I will continue to follow the NHL and a couple select teams. But they won’t be the Coyotes, my first love, and I’m heart broken that this is the end.
