  1. Always had a soft spot for the Coyotes. They were first team I played against in EA sports NHL '97 on Playstation, which was my introduction to ice hockey. If the rumours are true the team name will remain in Arizona, so hopefully if a new arena is built it's not so much "Goodbye", but rather "See you when you get there".

  2. Canucks fan here this makes me very sad and I feel for the Arizona fans I remember the great games we had against this team I was always looking forward to when they played them they were games to remember and it’s sad to see them go the hockey community will miss you Arizona coyotes

  3. Thank You Arizona Coyotes for these 28 years !
I used to to live in Phoenix 20 years ago, and remember when the team was named Phoenix Coyotes, and I have some great memories from Bank One Arena 👍😁!
Good luck in the future in Salt Lake City 👍👍!!!

  4. Every NHL franchise needs support from local govt, ownership, corporate and the fan base. Hopefully Arizona can get the right people together and make a comeback. Best of luck to all the support staff that's been affected by this.

  5. Я всегда своему ребёнку показывал вой койота. Очень нравилось нам. Я фан пингвинов. Ребёнок узнал и расстроился. Плохо что команда прекращает свое существование.

  6. Even though I'm an oilers fan and sucked to see them lose, I'm glad the Coyotes won their last game in their home rink.
It's unfortunate that the team has to move and the fans lose their team. It definitely would be a bittersweet game, and you see people getting teary.

The Coyotes may not been the greatest in the NHL but they where and are a team nonetheless, good luck in the move and good luck next season.

  7. I always hate to see a city loose their team. The Charlotte Hornets left my town when I was very young and it hurt a lot to see the first sports team I ever liked leave town. Sure, they're back now but there was no guarantee we'd get a team again and I didn't understand the business behind sports when I was a kid at the time. I hope the Coyotes do come back with a vengeance because those hurt fans deserve something great to cheer for.

  8. Its gonna be wierd not seeing the Yotes come to Staples center any more. I mean…crypto arena. Stupid name really. Hope to see AZ with a team soon.

  9. Salt Lake is the perfect place for this team. Not too far from Glendale and they are gonna get an injection of die hard Utah sports fans. It’s gonna be an exciting year for this team next year.

  10. From a Bolts fan, I sincerely hope every Yotes fan gets their team back soon. I'm still not over the NBA leaving Seattle, having your team taken away from you is probably the worst thing to happen to you as a sports fan. Everyone involved deserved better.

  11. Mighty D since '93….I hurt for the Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes fans as well as the organization EXCEPT for the ones who led them to relocation..

  12. All because people didn't like driving 20 minutes to go to an arena. League attendance has always hovered near the bottom. The Coyotes were always feeding from the revenue share too. Remember, this is where contracts went to die so the team could meet the salary floor – yes, there's a "Minimum Spend" and Revenue Sharing in the NHL. This team never grew like Nashville did. Granted, you need winners to put butts in seats, but nobody ever got the impression that Hockey was anything but filler between Tee times in Arizona, and there aren't enough snowbirds to rely on.

Hopefully Utah proves successful, and please let us not strike out a third time in Atlanta. If a team is needed out East, Jeremy Jacobs can park his Quebec bias. They built an NHL ready rink, just for this spiteful man to turn around and block each opportunity for the Resurrection of the Nordiques.

Take note everyone – The Owner of The Boston Bruins is still The Head of the Board of Governors, and is Gary Bettman's Boss. Jeremy Jacobs is, and has been the most powerful man in hockey since 2007.

  13. y'all posting this when you haven't even officially announced the move and let the players find out the news from a twitter article is honestly insane. the NHL and Alex Meruelo have handled this so poorly.
