No way he thought he was going to score on that shot.
Saddest bunch of goal scorers I’ve ever seen. Just when I thought it couldn’t get more depressing Tavares scored and it looked like he was ready to cry.
You have to laugh. The poor guy doesn’t pot one in 100+ games then the one shot he doesn’t want to score with goes in.
This guy was on a 100+ game goal drought and 34 was parked up in front ready for a tip or rebound.
100% Brodie fired that expecting it to be saved and leave a rebound chance for 34. Tomkins was godly the entire game and of course the one time we hoped he made the save like he’d been doing all game, so 34 could get a rebound opportunity, this man let’s it go in lmao.
He looked like he wanted to cry afterward
TJ and JT looked upset after they scored
I was banking on TJ saving his next goal for a playoff OT winner 😔 (still in the cards tho ig).
Looking at Marner in the back ground right as JT scored with his head up in disappointed was sad funny.
I still blame Bert for getting his one goal called back and as well being selfish and taking the empty netter when Matthews was about to jump out on the Ice
I told my buddy “the only person who might get a bigger pop than Matthews is TJ if he finally scores”
Boy was I wrong

Reminder to everyone that TJ is almost definitely gone after this season, so let’s at least keep it respectful
