McCarty is a little old for the level at 25, repeating A+ ball for the 2nd year in a row, but is absolutely dominating so far early on slashing .344/.382/.688 good for a 214 wRC+.
Goodwin was our 7th rounder in the 2023 draft, and he’s only 22, slashing .333/.500/.704 which is a 247 wRC+.

Ryan McCarty put up video game numbers at D3 university, especially his final season in 2022 when he was nominated for the Golden Spikes Award (rare for non-D1 players). .529 with 1.299 OPS with 100 hits, 27 2B, 29HR, 91RBI and 22 stolen bases in only 44 games

Goodwin was on fire all weekend. However there was a guy on the opposing team (Diamondbacks affiliate) named Gavin Conticello and he was like prime Jose Bautista, just line drives, homers, walks all series. He’s a mid to lower tier prospect but curious to see how he develops
