Pouring one out for Arizona. Really hope they’ll be back. They don’t deserve the vitriol they get from other NHL fans, nor the absolute scorn they get from their own localities.
And… Salt Lake City? Boring.

Christmas only comes once a year. A team in Arizona only comes once every 30 years. The butt goal is forever.
I was at this game. I had no idea what was going on since it was hard to see where the puck went, looked like just a scrum at the net where the goalie had covered the puck up. Then the goal horn went off and we all cheered confusingly and I drove home not understanding what happened. I needed a TV commentator to describe to me what was going on.
Miss you, RJ. Yotes deserved better.
