Kansas State TE prospect Ben Sinnott joins ‘NFL Total Access’ eight days ahead of Round 1

and he joined us right now on NFL Total
Access Ben thanks so much for the time
you saw the board right there you are
the second highest graded tight end by
PFF what do you think your attributes
most translate to the NFL
game yeah I mean I just think that I
have I bring so much versatility um with
my alignments with what I do and and
what Kate entrusted me with so I mean I
just think I have the ability to to fit
into any scheme um do whatever the coach
needs whether that be in line tight end
flexed out uh at the H in the back field
kicking out on power man um I’m willing
to do whatever they need so you are a
true unicorn because you are an all all
Big 12 fullback but we see you all over
over the place doing that but what do
you think that versatility will do as
far as getting you playing time right
away yeah I mean I just think that
coaches can plug me into whatever they
need um whether I’m at the the Y playing
tight end and 11 personnel or or playing
F in in 12 Personnel um being know just
be in for three Downs staying in the
ball game and um being able to play with
with what we want to do offensively um I
think I think it’s super valuable in
this league and especially with where
it’s going with tight ends well espec
you know look we’re seeing on film right
now what you did on the field but you
absolutely crushed the combine a 40inch
plus vertical only one other tight end
weighing more than 250 that being Vernon
Davis did that how much has the draft
process changed since you left
Indie yeah um I think it’s definitely
picked up uh I felt really good about my
numbers and um was able to kind of show
what kind of athlete and and what kind
of player I was so I mean it’s
definitely picked up with with visits
and and zoom calls and um just talking
with coaches um getting to know team so
it’s uh it’s been a fun fun ride since
the comine for sure is there an NFL
tight end you model your game
after man um I think Sam leor helped me
a lot uh with what he’s done and uh he’s
a guy that that I’ve looked up to this
year and um really impressed with with
what he’s been able to do for the Lions
so um I think he’s helped with with our
similar build and and some of our
similar traits so um definitely him that
is the comp I have heard when it comes
to you all right so let’s break down
some of your tape you talked about all
the different things you do I’m gonna
let you talk us through this all right
let’s do
it yeah a little head up head up sixi um
got to get in the paint you you get
anywhere near that that goal line um
yeah I was supposed to run around him
but you know he gets in my way you gota
go through them and then just going up
and getting it um as a tight a’t gotta
High Point it quick little screen
breaking a tackle in the snow nobody
wants to tackle in the cold so um wanted
to to make sure I I was able to get in
the pain on that one I I tell you
watching some of your film The Yards
after the catch and your Avail your
ability to evade and break tackles
have really got to make you super
enticing to a lot of these NFL teams all
right look yesterday on social media you
posted you were in Bucks country so what
other teams have you visited
with yeah so um I started my little Trek
with uh Kansas City and then I went to
Carolina with the Panthers and then uh
went to New York for the Giants and then
finished up with uh Chicago and Tampa so
back to kind of a normal routine now um
getting to work out and and get my body
right for the season now
