If I were one of these QBs’ agents I’d be on the phone begging the Vikings to trade up and draft my client. Turning down a meeting with them doesn’t make sense

I’d be pissed if I saw my agent doing this. All his agent is doing is hurting his draft stock.
The interview with the Vikings was scheduled a week ago prior to the Commander’s visit.
Unless they were already getting the sense that the Commanders wanted Maye prior to the top 30 visit so they needed to schedule more visits with other teams then this doesn’t really factor into much.
But there’s probably still some smoke around the tweets coming out yesterday.
Here is my crazy world wish. We start making noise that we are gonna trade with the chargers because we want McCarthy and they want the number 2 pick (not sure why they would, but this is fantasy time) the cardinals freak that the chargers might take mhj and they give us their 2 firsts this year and a first next year to move from 4 to 2. We take it, and we still get either maye, Daniels or McCarthy, whoever is left after the pats pick plus another first and our two seconds. Yes I know I am very detached from reality.
Sooooo we all betting on Maye #2 before the Vegas line moves???

To be honest, JD would be a better fit in Minnesota than he would here. I guess I’m on the Maye train.
Looking at the pieces, my guess is the agent has been spreading the news around the league that Daniels is going to be the pick at 2 (making Schefter adament that he’ll be the pick). Once the group interviews with the Commanders happened, he doesn’t get the sense anymore, is backtracking, and now it’s likely Daniels is available at 3, making a trade up possible between Vikings-Pats and now Daniels has to meet with the Vikings.
Just out of curiosity, has this moved the odds at all?
I feel bad for your fan base. Y’all really want to take Maye and enjoy Mitch Trubinsky 2.0 instead of the heisman winner
I’m a Daniels fan but he needs to put a diaper on his agent’s face cuz that’s where all the crap is coming out. JD is who I want but is this really what the team needs right now? We’re just rinsing off after our last shitstorm. At least Maye is doing what he needs to do and his agent is quiet.
If this is true and If the guy can’t handle being around other competition, then he is not a franchise quarterback, period.
