I think you’re the first person to bring this up, no one else has mentioned it
I’m wondering the same. I thought maybe Tuesday’s game was a scheduled day game, then yesterday was moved to try and beat the weather. Which would be crazy to do to ticket holders. But then today too? Crazy.
It’s a great strategy for a struggling franchise. People who are going to the game are going to go no matter the time. Get it out of the way so they can watch the crown of the city, Red Wings hockey. Plus, it gives school groups field trip opportunities. Getting kids to fall in love with a sport and / or franchise does a lot of good.
Idk, but I appreciate it since Iām home sick with Covid this week
It’s cold in Detroit.
The other five posts about this all mention it being too cold for night games still. But my favorite reason is that Detroit is too dangerous at night.
Because it’s cold AF in Detroit during the day and as someone else pointed out, day games draw as well as cold night games when your team sucks!
