1. I know very few people want to hear this but you need to expect that Schoen is going to make moves in an attempt to justify the Daniel Jones contract that is tied to his head. This means drafting a WR or trading back if they get enough draft capital from another team on the trade up.

   Edit for the downvotes: I want you to be right, but there is no way in hell we trade up and/or pick a QB at 6. The media hype has you confused

2. Everything is just GM speak until they are forced to show their cards. We’ll know in a week the real deal.

3. “We’re not shopping Kadarius Toney.”

   “My expectation is that Wink is back.”

   This means nothing.

4. We didn’t draft Daniel to trade him.

5. “Man, Daniel Jones is total trash.  Just straight up buttcheeks.  I’m desperate to trade up to pick another QB and will pay any price.  Seriously, just name it and I’ll take the first offer.”

6. His phrasing sounds bad for DJ.

   “The *expectation* is” implies it’s still possible he’s not.

   “I *still* have” sounds like an acknowledgment of his shortcomings.

7. “We are desperate for a new QB, just tell us your asking price” doesn’t sound as good.
