Okay. Side by side they new jerseys look WAY better
We haven’t seen the helmet(s) or pants yet, but it’s a lot more subtle (or “clean”) than I thought they would be.
It doesn’t motivate me to chuck my old jersey for these new ones, which probably makes the marketers sad.
The classic gridiron feel of the Jerseys is a good representation of our new Culture that MCDC and Brad built. Also didn’t go to wild and played it safe.

The home jersey is perfect in my opinion. I hate the Detroit above the numbers on the away but really hate that font
It now looks like every 1980’s mesh shirt that every kid wore until it faded to death.
If they have a blue face mask they are incredible

Home is a MASSIVE improvement, away is almost identicle, so a wash for me.

Surprised I’m in the minority. They both look good but I personally like what we currently have more (besides the WCF)
the problem is more nike than anything. the font of detroit and lions still sucks and the material sucks and that is that. somehow putting old fashioned flairs on something grossly nouveau just is perverse but thats me
I didn’t realize until now how much I dislike the gray numbers. Bigger improvement than I thought.
The new blue is better. White pops better than gray for the numbers, nameplate and piping.
so fucken fresh, they nailed it. got rid of the dumb rounded off numbers and went with a more classic font, plus the sleeves look cleaner and overall its such a better design with the white in there. hate fanatics gear so i wont get one for me, but these will look great on the team.

They’re clean just don’t like the speed holes in the numbers. I think the home should have either DETROIT or LIONS to match the two others as well.

I, too, am not loving the DETROIT wordmark on the whites, but at least it’s kind of small.
Edit to add that overall, I LOVE these – it’s almost exactly what I envisioned in my head. The new striping will need to grow on me, because I like the northwestern style (fat middle stripe) better just in general. But these are great. I can’t wait to see the full uniform with pants, helmet.
I like that the sleeve looks more of a metallic silver than a gray. The white numbers are clean, and the font looks classic. Looks great.
Are the holes in the numbers supposed to reflect the really old mesh jerseys that used to be a thing?
Aside from that I really like the home and away, not crazy about black but maybe it will look better with pads and a full kit
Doug and gator were saying that there was something wrong with the N in lions, but I don’t see it

New is perfect. WCF is off the sleeve. That shade of blue is perfect. I like the block numbers. A++++.

All around an improvement, although I really don’t care for the dots on the numbers. It adds unnecessary complexity an otherwise very clean and simple design, and clashes with the rest of the jersey.
The black uniform is very meh, but better than the 08 blacks. I don’t hate them, and they could have potential with all black pants and a blue helmet with a black or grey inverse of the current Lion logo. I think a darker grey or charcoal would have been better than an all out black though.
Look at that, now the refs will be able to see the difference between 68 and 70!
If this is what all the hype was about I’m extremely disappointed

I will have to see them with the pants and helmet, but for me personally I am somewhat underwhelmed, not sure if it was the hype that made me expect a bigger wow factor.
seeing the side-by-side makes me appreciate the new ones so much more. Those old numbers are booty cheeks in comparison
All they had to do to improve them was remove WCF, mission accomplished.
