I’m actually really sad these have been retired. I think that helmet would look sick with the white uniforms.
Longboi paved the way. It will be missed.
That one was cold, assumed it would be carried over to the new uniforms.
We’re one of the few teams allowed to have a third helmet for this year i don’t see why we would get rid of this. I’m hoping they just didn’t show it.
For some reason they didn’t highlight ALL of the jersey combos super clearly in the video so maybe this one is actually available and the just didn’t show it.
I like this helmet, shame it just goes so poorly with those drab all grays lol

I believe it’s still listed as our throwback helmet under the new rules.

I refuse to believe it’s gone. Best helmet in the league.
Sucks cause now they’re gonna avoid using the throwback logo, when the issue was it just doesn’t belong on a helmet.
I thought we were going to go with these as our main helmets.

I’m honestly sad about this. I love everything else about the new uniforms, but this helmet is straight fire. I’m hoping that they can use the blue shell and this logo still with the all white unis. That would fuck so hard.
I got mine for autographs, so I get to look at it in the living room. I am going to miss it on the field though.
I don’t get introducing a new helmet with known upcoming redesigned uniforms and then getting rid of the new helmet. These were dope.
I will miss the steel grey uniforms. They looked great with the alternate Honolulu Blue helmet with the silver face mask and retro Lions logo. Lions went undefeated in them last season.
If the rule of teams being able to have 3 helmets is true, I can see the Lions bringing this out on thanksgiving
They really hyped the hell out of that helmet. I had been looking for a sweatshirt or hoodie with that design and no luck. I do like this helmet more than the new black lion one.
