Did the Dodgers’ loaded roster lead to giving the Cubs the early NL Rookie of the Year favorite, Michael Busch, for just a bargain rate?

  1. Recency bias combined with small sample size is causing you to overvalue Busch.

He may end up being a ROY candidate, but seriously discussing this before the end of April is beyond premature.

  2. He has been awesome, and the hit tools he was known for seem to be working in the MLB now. If he keeps this up all year, then yeah, but there is a very long season ahead lol

  3. Media is gonna put so much pressure on him that it will hurt. Leave him be and let him have success.

  4. Yes, that’s a good way to put it. Now, will they sell off Miguel Vargas for nothing?

  5. I’m cautiously optimistic. He’s looked great so far, but it’s important to remember how early in the season we are, and it’ll take a lot longer to see how he develops.  That said, I’m not one to duck away from getting excited about a young guy playing well.
