Saw a clip of him on a podcast the other day talking about it. He started off by basically just saying stuff like “It really wasn’t about the city it was about Lebron, we couldn’t get through him and it felt like he was taunting us” and I was like oh maybe Noah doesn’t actually hate Cleveland he was just pissed he couldn’t beat Lebron. Then he ends it with “there are other nba cities that are probably just as bad as Cleveland” so nope dude is still a douche
It was very funny at the time and Lebron preventing them from ever doing anything was even better. Sports are better with trash talk.
Good for him for quadrupling down on his Cleveland diss, but man, he really didn’t know that we were built for this. Nobody is more self-deprecating and nobody is going to have as long of a memory. Maybe Philly fans.
Cleveland sports fans relish taking on the Jordan era Bulls, the prime Yankees, the Steelers, the prime Warriors. This is just hilarious, small-time stuff for us. We’re going to razz this dude until he’s moved to the beyond, just for fun.

I was a teenager then but it made me mad at the time. Some guy who grew up with rich parents, traveled the world, etc calling a regular city full of regular people a shitty city just felt dirty and out of place lol.
