  1. Don’t watch the Red Sox but as a Liverpool fan I can def get behind the fuck FSG memo

  2. He’s a dickhead too, we’re just in a period of prosperity atm so theres no need to show it.

Remember when he scoffed at striking actors and writers during the LAC broadcast on air, sitting next to an actor??? He scoffs at workers rights đź‘€

  3. Listen… I hate what’s currently happening with the Sox and Pats.. But some of us (sadly) are old enough to remember what true Shit owenership looks like. FSG and Kraft gave us 10 rings in 18 Yrs. I’ll forever be grateful.

  4. Honestly when it comes to sports owners, you either die the hero or live long enough to become the villain.

I’m as annoyed as FSG and Kraft as the next Boston sports fan for their decisions & behavior these last two years, but without them Fenway might’ve been knocked down, the curse of the Bambino could still be going & the Patriots could have easily been moved, not to mention hiring Belichick or trusting him when he benched the highest paid QB for a 6th round nobody. And that’s not even mentioning the TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS they helped bring the city over two decades. We owe both ownership groups an incredible debt of gratitude & if anyone had a time machine & went back even five years, no Boston fans would ever have imagined this could’ve happened.

The C’s are looking at a $500 million/year payroll in very short time & that money’s got to come from somewhere, either with higher ticket prices or enormous stinginess once the core pieces age out of their primes or retire. And mark my words, the moment that happens all this goodwill is going to evaporate and the perception of this ownership group is going to take a turn.

We should enjoy it while it lasts & be glad they’re willing to spend so freely while the window is open, but not have any illusions about the heel turn that’s coming.
