  1. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this. They do it on some regular season games too.

Not going to stop us stupid Americans!

  2. There’s a quite a few teams that do this. Priority for the hometown fans is a good thing.

  3. Because they know tickets are cheaper down there including flight hotels meals

  4. Where there’s a will for Canadian fans to see their team live, there’s a way for Canadians to see their team live.

  5. I wish we had the soccer model. Where seats were reasonable and not just corporate bonuses, and there was a designated away section for traveling fans.

  6. Well then I am lucky I do have an address here in Nashville huh? 😬… taking bribes to “borrow” my address (ie. I pay for you after you send me a “finder’s fee” of course 😉

  7. Isn’t it easier just to buy on resale sites. That’s where I purchase all my tickets for every game. I find them to be cheaper than facevalue most of the time as well.

  8. Wow I already bought tickets on stubhub but they haven’t been transferred.  I was planning on booking my flight tonight.  I guess I’ll hold off…

  9. this is normal across the whole league, home team fans first dibs. well they try too at least.

  10. I booked a flight and accommodation last night to go

Anyone know a way around this?

  11. How does that work for second-hand sites like TickPick where Ticketmaster never sees you CC info?

  12. This has been a thing for years, I’m not surprised. I also dont really mind it because it’s a smaller market and I’m sure they want as many as their fans In as possible, they dont have much ravenous hockey fans as van and canada in general
