I look at mock drafts as hypotheticals where you have to assume some chaos, but not lunacy.
I like the Brian Thomas pick.
But at pick 52, I assume Payton Wilson is off the board and why in the first round, Brian Thomas is a good pick here, because Joe Alt (who goes at pick #20) is also likely off the board.
At 52, even if he is there, EDGE should be the priority over linebacker and someone like Adisa Isaac, Darius Robinson, or Marshawn Kneeland over Wilson.
But I like many of the picks. Cole Bishop seems like a good player wherever he plays.
drafting a kicker seems a safe bet as opposed to rolling the dice with a UDFA that is available – because you can also get your first priority kicker by drafting unless 49ers get them in the 3rd round again.
But I prefer Will Reichard because he seems a safer, more tested pick. But kickers seem a crap shoot at this point for some reason.
