  1. I really enjoyed watching a nice relaxing Friday-afternoon victory after the craziness of the Diamondbacks series.

Taillon looked great in his return and it’s great seeing Dansby heat up! Fun win!

  2. Said in the game thread 2 solid pen arms a real closer and you have a team that can make noise. Offense is rock solid defense is disgusting

  3. Winning already against the Marlins and Diamondbacks feels so satisfying after last year

Lets get at least 3 out of 4

  4. Got to ignore work for a couple hours low stress game on a Friday? Love me some Friday cubs daysball

  5. Which marlins player do you want most in the eventual fire sale?

They looked terrible out there. No hustle, energy, or camaraderie to be seen. Walking to a ball on the ground as runners are turning 2nd is hilarious – jazz and whoever their LF is were both guilty

  6. Nico’s stats have moved towards his expected stats over the last week. Suddenly he’s rocking a 114 season wRC+ *and* a 13.2% walk rate that’s almost double last season’s mark.

  7. Even with the injuries , bullpen struggles, Hendricks’ slow start, Cubs are as of now are tied with the Dodgers and Braves for the most wins in the NL (12).

  8. Much needed, great game from Taillon with the doubleheader tomorrow. First start of the year and he throws 5 innings. Huge kudos

  9. Cubs, Dodgers, Braves now have 12 Wins a piece.  We take over 1st place tonight or tomorrow. Cubs Win!!

  10. Did the broadcast really have Flus listed as Waldron during the stretch lol??
