This lineup against Ryan is certainly something.
No Riley Greene? Yeah we’re fucked
I get that AJ wants to put pressure on the opposing managers in late innings with a platoon guy, but wouldn’t make sense to have Canha or another OBP guy in the two hole, then put said platoon guy in the four/five hole?
Then again, the Tigers have like eight statisticians who are paid to analyze this.

Didn’t think I’d be asking “where’s Javy?” based on how his season started, but here I am. Greene, Vierling, and Baez out of the lineup is certainly a choice.

Maybe AJ put Perez second to see if it builds confidence?
