Former 5-star recruit, was #17 on Feldman’s Freaks List for 2023.
A potential BPA day-2 pick for a lot of teams.
This iDL draft class is dominated by undersized DTs. Smith is one of the few good prospects that has elite size and athleticism.
If the Packers want him, they’d probably have to take him at 41. I’d love to have him at 58, but I doubt he lasts that long.
I think Gute is going to sneakily take a DT higher than most think. Maybe top 3. He’s always looking ahead and not signing Clark yet is telling for what he is thinking.
