My Chargers jersey collection. 2 of my favorite players!
April 20, 2024
The Scifres is from 2012 and I've matched it to every game the Bolts wore white that year. The Scott is from the Broncos game this year. JK set a franchise record with his 83 yard punt! Punters are people too!

JK Scott do be a legend tho. One thing stayley did was invest and fix the stupid special teams that ruined the 2018 run
Yep. I have Scifres jersey from 08.
Punters ARE ppl too!!
If we’re talking punters Let’s not forget Darren Bennett. I loved that guy.
I love any opportunity to remind everyone that Mike Scifres had one of the greatest playoff punting performances of all time in the Indy/Chargers game in 2009.
1st: 51 yards to IND 10, fair catch
2nd: 57 yards to IND 15, 4 yard return
3rd: 50 yards to IND 3, downed
4th: 67 yards to IND 5, 2 yard return
5th: 38 yards to IND 9, fair catch
6th: 52 yards to IND 1, out of bounds (on 4th & 19)
Said Colts coach Tony Dungy: “He was the difference in the game.”
“He was awesome,” Rivers said. “We were prepared tonight, if we had to be, for a shootout. . . . It turned into a field-position game and who was going to control the ball and not turn it over.”
“I think that their punter is the MVP of the game,” Colts running back [Dominic Rhodes](http://www.espn.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2893) said. “He did a real good job of putting us deep in our territory, and their defense did a good job of keeping us there.”
