A positive is we at least got 14 hits. Feels like that’s more in one game than the past 5 games combined so that’s hopefully promising
This one stings extra hard. We had so many chances to score, and we only blew the game because of bad defense.
On one hand, robbed like crazy by the umps on that fly ball call, on the other, 3 runs on 14 hits does not deserve a W, gg go next

Such a frustrating game my goodness
5 unearned runs aside, this team pretty consistently only starts coming through with runs when they are about to lose, and then they run out of time sometimes. I don’t really understand it
Poor Palacios looked so dejected even though he had himself a night. 🙁
Pretty disastrous ending to that game. But gotta go back to those two errors. Very inexcusable. Especially that one on Yandy, absolutely pathetic effort there from a veteran.
What an ugly game. Something is off with this Rays team. I suspect that Randy’s added size has impacted his hitting.

Honestly probably the best the team has looked in a loss so far this year. Some really tough breaks which is going to happen, honestly the team has been kind of fortunate with those this year so it’s whatever.
Curtis Mead is just not it though, man. Guy is an awful defender everywhere on the field and still hasn’t managed an XBH. Hopefully once Josh Lowe is back the team can just play Rosario at 2nd full time til BLowe gets back and keep Mead on the bench or in Durham

If game films were still on vhs or dvds, this is the kind of game where the coach lights the game film on fire or does some kind of ceremonial burial/destruction of it
It’s mead’s errors, it’s yandy’s dead bat, it’s randy swinging at everything like his life depends on it, it’s a rag tag ass bullpen, it’s Josh Lowe still injured, it’s wander, and so on…
both errors looked really bad. especially the Mead one. a major league infielder should not have looked like this
