It’s very early. But given the Royals probability to make the playoffs was less than 2% at the beginning of the season and is now over 40%, has to raise eyebrows.
Add to it, most of the position players are yet to reach the age of peak productivity, 26-30 years old. Salvador Perez and Hunter Renfroe are past peak years. And Kyle Isbel, 27, and Vinnie Pasquantino, 26, are just entering the window. Everyone else, 25 or younger!
As long as the Starting Pitching remains healthy, this Royals team will compete. And, the best is yet to come!

Yea, 42% sounds about right. Stay healthy and competitive, be .500 at the break, make a move or two and yea why not the Royals especially with the expanded postseason.
