What hot takes or unpopular opinions do you have about the Bills?

McDermott isnt a top coach, hes just being carried by a top QB.
Offense will be more diverse and effective without worrying about Diggs.
Beane and McDermott focus too much on the defense in an offensive league.
The Bills should draft a dog instead of a human
No one’s mock draft matters. We are all amateurs, and we should just shut the fuck up, leave it to the professionals…
I miss the Jills.
I don’t even want a new stadium.
We had a top 3 defence for most of McDermott tenure, on the backs of some elite Safeties.
Our offence improved with the OC switch, which coincided with Shakir and Kincaid taking most of Diggs’s targets.
Taking 2 safeties early would be the best thing for the team.
Wildcard season incoming,
I dont get the freak out about drafting a WR when we get bounced from the post season because of leaky D.
Unpopular opinion, seemingly…Jim Kelly was a useless limp appendage who cost the franchise 4 stupid bowls.
The losses on offense and defense from this past year aren’t a huge deal. The defensive guys we lost are past their primes and the worst part of the D, Diggs and Davis losses we won’t notice after week four with how well Kincaid, Cook, Shakir, and whoever else comes in plays.
Football games come down to luck more often than we like to admit. The Bills and Chiefs were essentially even in those two playoff games and the Chiefs winning both doesn’t say as much about McDermott/Allen/Reid/Mahomes as we think
Buffalo’s coaching and personnel decisions have Allen currently on the Phil Rivers career track.
McDermott’ default is to bury young players behind less qualified older ones.
Diggs probably had some valid complaints about Josh’s leadership and work ethic but his leaving will be a catalyst for Josh taking the next step and maturing into the best version of him we’ll ever see.
Until the defense finds an elite pass rusher this team will never get to the Super Bowl under this coaching staff.
This team will be better on offense without Diggs and Gabe.
Josh in a west coast style offense (Shannahan esque) would win the MVP every single year no question in my mind.

The only way the Bills can win a SB is with the 1 seed.

We trade up in the first round to pick Cooper DeJean.
9/10 available coaches would get us to the same spot McDermott gets us each season. You have the #2 QB in the league and him missing one play is the “highlight” reason of the loss.

I think our floor this season is a wild card berth, and that’s actually what I want. Fuck winning the division this year. Give me a 2nd place schedule in 2025 when we’ll be reloaded.
(I hope I’m wrong) Josh won’t win a Super Bowl with us and will move to another team and do it.
Our D Line disappearing in the post season is the actual root of our problems.
Getting rid of Diggs is addition by subtraction.

I dunno. I don’t think I really have a hot take but I think TE coach Rob Boras is one of the best coaches on McDermott’s staff. His energy is infectious and I hope he helps Kincaid become an All Pro.
