  1. I know our FO is not that smart, but this feels like an effort by someone trying to increase DJM trade value rather than trying to diminish Trae’s value.

Anyone with a brain knows [“They are going to try hard to trade Trae Young. That’s going to happen,” Helin claimed.] is complete bullshit. If any calls had been made about trading Trae Young it would be leaked all over every media outlet in the country. This random dude from NBC sports is reporting on /r/nba threads. All of which points to an agent or executive trying to get more value out of Murray.

  2. about the author “About Jason Burgos

He also has a lengthy resume of interview work with stars and influencers from multiple sports and has co-hosted several podcasts”

    # this guys def knows his shit about hawks ball

  3. Idgaf about Traes rep across the league, I legitimately hate most other teams so fuck ‘em. But if this ensures we don’t get rid of Trae, I’m all for it

  4. Why is Trae even on the chopping block? Did anyone with eyes see how the team was without him? DJM and Capela are the only guys I want gone.

  5. I like Murray a lot, but it def seems like he’s not a great fit. I’m fine trading him, but ideally needs to be for players that can contribute instead of picks. I wish I had faith in this FO to get this ship righted, but I just don’t

  6. No clue what Trae’s value is or if they tried to trade him. But actual reporters covering the team like Rowland and national guys like Zach Lowe all
Said Trae was untouchable at the deadline. Pretty much everyone reported there was no market for Dejounte beyond the Lakers offering DLo and a pick. So for Kurt Helin, who is a relative no name, to just toss out “yeah they tried to trade him but everyone asked for Dejounte” to some AI Chatbot website called Sportsnaut… this is literally less than nothing.

  7. If this is true then this is amazing. In 3 months we have gotten so much new leverage in a DJ trade
