  1. I’m actually surprised, maybe I shouldn’t be, that they even brought him back for the season. He really needs to go. Look at it this way, even if the current woes aren’t his fault, he’s not helping. And there’s some of the same problems we saw last year. It’s not like if we cut him loose and try someone else we’re going to all of a sudden suffer from a lack of offense because we downgraded big time.

He failed with the Brewers too.

  2. It’s pretty bad when a beat writer that covers the team (Bucs dugout) is saying he needs to go.

  3. People keep saying tHe PlaYeRs sTiLl NeEd tO sWinG like the coaches don’t do anything. Remember when ray searage had guys like Glasnow and Cole pitching to contact low in the zone and then they left and became strikeout pitchers? Yeah same thing applies here. Haines wants guys to go deep in counts. Instead of hitting home runs on middle middle first pitches, they’re rolling over on a low outside pitch because they’re protecting the plate after seeing their two best pitches already.

  4. Um, Andy Haines is a brilliant man with lots of well thought out, practical ideas. He is ensuring the offensive production of this team for years to come. Oh yes, and his personal hygiene is above reproach.
