  1. Yes, but they need to prove they can beat the good (+.500) teams. That being said, they have exceeded my expectations thus far.

  2. Bad teams do not sweep away series with this sort of injury status. This is not a bad team and should get stronger moving forward with guys coming back online (Devers, Oneil and eventually Casas)

  3. I don’t remember us getting off to such a slow start in ’18. I remember how fun steamrolling our way to a championship was though.

Edit: I’m dumb and skipped over “or better” so you guys can just ignore my illiterate ass. Let’s go Sox!

  4. All this stuff is crazy, it’s a *very* long season. The only result through 23 games that would define the season this early is 0-23.

I’m glad to see the team is more competitive than I expected, but that makes it all the more damning that the FO didn’t spring for a few more key free agents. It wouldn’t have taken too many additions to make this team a real contender.

  5. I mean if you’d told me with this bunch that 23 games in we’d be down 3 starting pitchers, a left fielder and our entire infield and that we’d also be 3 games above .500 and ahead of both the Rays and Dodgers I’d happily take it (after laughing in your face)!

  6. Sure, but consider the schedule. Or the way the Orioles destroyed us last week. Or the lack of pitching. Or the awful defense.

  7. I enjoy watching them succeed, i really do, i just hope they will be to last until the summer/fall.
