Not to be doom and gloom here but I truly think he’s going to get fired over this play
Common Jason Kidd L
Team was out there just getting slaughtered and couldn’t buy a bucket. Needed any sort of victory we could get. But hey can’t blame Kidd, he was just there watching like the rest of us.
Be careful, some folks on here still try to argue he’s a good coach. Don’t want to offend them!
Kidd was never a good coach. He’s just not an Xs & Os type of guy. He’s a great motivator. But in a playoff series you can get easily outcoached and outplayed and exposed. Issue is there’s really no one out there to replace him. Ime Udoka would have been awesome for this team… sigh
Damn, you doomers got all these locked and loaded just waiting to pounce huh. Should Kidd have challenged there? Absolutely. But lets not act like that’s the biggest reason we lost. Our team started out flat and even Luka was chucking bricks in the 1st half. Not to mention they shot 50% from deep. We’re still winning 4 of the next 6.
I don’t get why he didn’t challenge that call was a blatant offensive foul kicking leg out
Did he mention his reasoning for not challenging that in the post press conference?
Hindsight he absolutely should have challenged it moved too quickly for the staff. Welcome back to the playoffs. Step it up in game 2!
This had me furious it was so obvious we coulda just that swing
that’s not my biggest problem in the game imo the no timeout call for almost 2Q is my biggest problem
you can blame kidd as much as you like, but even with the most atrocious coaching, a team (especially one with a couple of players like luka and kyrie) should be able to score more than 8 pts in a qtr
I’m not sure this was the momentum changer.
he should’ve challenged that. but this post is making it seem larger than what it really is. we scored 30 in the 1st half. even in the 90s that was too low. we scored 8 in the 2nd q. who the hell scores 8 in one quarter?
Why are refs not privy to this stuff yet? How many more years do players like Harden and Embiid need to pull this shit until they wise up?
Has any team ever fired their coach after the first playoff game loss?
