The Pelicans had their chances to steal Game 1 but too many offensive miscues down the stretch doom them in loss to Thunder

I was really hoping to see a u/retropels “playoffs” anthem. Dammit.
Up 2 with less than 3 minutes left they had five offensive possessions, FIVE where they didn’t connect or more frustrating had unforced turnovers. And Thunder still weren’t capitalizing…we freaking had it y’all!!!!
They absolutly had the game in their grasps and faultered to close out yet again
The solace to take in they made it the most exciting game for a road team, CJ while missing the final shot was *far* more aggressive tonight and they played good defense and dominate second chance points albeit in the first half. Hope is not all lost
