For all the complaints against the ownership, front office not trading the glut of infielders, etc, we lucked out that the core group is full of authentic, good dudes. Unique characters filling up the 26 man.

I don’t think I’d say we lucked into the character of our players, I think it was by design. The FO values character and that’s what lead to trading away guys like Bauer, Clevinger, Francisco Mejia, etc. It’s also part of why we’re very selective with our FA and trade targets.Â
