Day 84 of posting my favorite Raiders player to wear the number of the day: Jerry Porter

This was an easy choice for me, Porter was a stud when I first started getting into the Raiders. Porter is the 6th leading receiver in Raiders history. He played in 105 games with 62 starts and caught 284 passes for 3,939 yards and 30 TDs. While the yardage isn’t necessarily eye-popping, the TD’s definitely are. His game against Denver in the 2002 AFC Championship game is a microcosm of what this dude was capable of, a true THREAT in the Redzone.

  1. I loved 84 dude was not afraid to route through the middle and that was back when they had LB’s like Seau and Ray Lewis roaming around. Wish he coulda got more starts in tho

  2. OP I understand you’re from the younger generation of Raider fans and I really dig your list. I’m hoping you take some time to look at the accomplishments of Art Powell. Powell put up some big numbers and I think you’d be excited to learn more about him.

Keep up the good work. It’s very entertaining.
