You must be a new pirate fan, because Speaking as a long time Pirate fan all of this losing is completely normal.
The trick is not get sucked in when they have a hot streak.
Jesus YINZ!!!! come on we are still on pace for 3rd place AND only three weeks into the season.
22 games out of 162 does not make a season. Anything can and will happen.
If we can win a few that we should lose around this time, who know what can happen… maybe even 2nd place in the division. Everyone is jumping up and down about Cruz and the rest… well folks it’s called a slump and you want it to happen in this time of the year than August when you’re fighting for a spot.
If you don’t believe me… look at Houston and the shitshow that team is right now. Are the fans freaking out? Yes, a little but I bet you a billion they will be in the playoffs and make the close to the final like the last seven years.
