Golden State Warriors Champion Reveals Decision on Future

Thoughts on JaVale possibly coming back with the Warriors (on a vet minimumb or a team friendly contract) as Kerr expressed getting bigger for next season would be one of the needs for next season plus he played well for us and knows the system? Obviously it would be for a backup role to backup TJD and Loon.

  1. Think it really depends on the makeup of the rest of the roster. We need shooting and wing defense, first and foremost. I think if we were to bring in any big it almost has to be a stretch big since TJD or Loon will provide zero spacing. Javale also looked cooked at the start of _last_ season, I can’t imagine an additional year and a half has reversed father time.

  2. Not a needle-mover. Not a starter or even a primary rotational player. Deeper on the bench than that, with an appropriate salary for that role, he’d be fine.

  3. Are we serious. We are leagues behind the top teams like the Nuggets, OKC (who is this good and really young), Wolves, Pelicans, Clippers, not to mention the East teams. We need another superstar in order to have any chance. A Giannis, Embiid, Lebron, KAT or someone at that level. Stop pretending we don’t. Steph is now regressing and this team has nobody else that can reliably get 20-30 a night. Every team ahead of us has 2 or even 3 stars that can get 20-30 a night. Hell steph barely does this now. We need a miracle and if we are serious about winning now, then our only option is doing anything and everything we can to get a superstar.

  4. If there was ever a year to spend upwards of $500m on a roster it’s next year! Small moves won’t fix this years problems.

  5. Javale was great to have back in the day. But the last two teams haven’t really played him minutes. There must be a reason for that.

  6. As much as I liked when he was here, I don’t think a JAVAAALLLLEEE MCGEEEEE is going to get us over the hump

  7. TJD gives us what Javale did back then, and he’s already on contract for several years.
