  1. I’m not sure how the fact that there would have been a breakaway chance if the penalty on Lee hadn’t been called somehow proves there was no dive? It’s not just Islanders fans accusing you guys of diving, everybody is accusing you guys of diving. Probably because of all that diving you’re doing.

  2. lol what?

How about all the dives that were not called anything?

I didn’t see the Lee penalty so cannot comment.

The puck over the glass was just poor luck

But that slash…I’ve said before and I will say it again. If you want to call that a slash ok. Fine. Technically that was a slash. But my God you have to call that embellishment. Slavin acted like his leg was taken off by a .50 cal

  3. If you’re complaining about embellishment you’re probably sore over the loss. If fans of the other 30 teams are complaining about embellishment you were embellishing.

  4. I don’t know a single fan that complained about the delay of game penalty lol

The problem was not giving 2 and 2 for the holding and the slash, both were HEAVILY embellished.

My problem with Canes fans is they seemed to latch onto this idea that Isles fans think the slash shouldn’t be a penalty which is not true. I saw people say it was soft or maybe shouldn’t be called in the playoffs but no one said it wasn’t a slash lol

  5. I totally understand everyone’s frustration. That being said, what are we the maple leafs now? Crying about every call that doesn’t go our way (pretty much ALL of them in Islanders history) It’s just a part of our life. We are a small market team that often gets the shaft. Most of you should be used to it by now unless you are new here.

To be clear I’m NOT saying those calls were not bullshit. Those were some Sean Avery Mathew Barnaby Michael Bunting quality dives. I’m just saying when are the odds NOT stacked against us?

  6. The hilarious part was the one embellishment they called last year was when Barzal was crosschecked into the boards

NHL referees may be the blindest, most inconsistent individuals on the planet
